Hi I have a '98 Contour GL and Yysterday I noticed when I put my left turn signal on it started to blink abnormally fast and now the back left signal and brake light does not work. I checked the bulb and the bulb did not seem to be broken. I tried to find the relay fuse but it said that it was in the steering column, but i dont know where to find it? Can you please help?
Thanks,
Rachelle

Welcome onboard.

Replacimg bulb the usual fix, although sometimes it's a poor connection in the bulb socket. Faulty switch or flasher (no relay) in steering column would exhibit different symptoms.

Horseydug is right, you should replace the bulb you that you think look good. And you apply a bit of electrical grease in the socket to avoid corrosion.

Nic.

Holy Shizzel I think your low on blinker fluid, head on over to Autozone, you need to ask the counter person as they only keep it in the back of the store.

But before you do that checks the bulbs, are they black inside, if so they are burnt.
