This is the final straw, if I cant get this gutted cat issue resolved the car is gone, and I will selling my parts off it. Custom exhaust, intake, diablochip, new urethane rear suspension kit etc.



Borla exhaust, Custom intake, KVR Cross drilled rotors, Mil Eliminators, Diablo chip, OMP Strut bar, Urethane motor mount insert, Full rear urethane suspension inserts.

have you reset the computer?

Where did you get the MIL's from?

Run your codes yet?


I had no issues with my catless setup. I got my MIL's from www.dallasmustang.com

Park Muffler did your catlass setup right?

Check to make sure that all the o2 sensors are in tact. I had 2 of the 4 burned off which made the car run like sh!t and gave a constant CEL.

Let us know, your car has alot done to it to just give up on it, I see it around everynow and then, it looks great and has an awesome sound! Don't give up on it.

Well heres the lastest saga of Cursed mods for the SVT.

When Park gutted the cats they destroyed both upper O2 sensors. $200 later I have new O2 installed and so far so good no CEL. But I have a major misfire issue that is totally random. I have removed the chip and intake for now to eliminate that possibility. When it misfires CEL light flashes on and off, but I am not sure how many times. I am going to check the spark plugs, but I just had them replaced awhile ago. Anyone know how to test the ignition module? or how would it act up if it is on the way out?

when was the last time you changed your plug wires

Wow, when will Park ever learn... did the exact same thing on my car...

Were the botton 2 sensors ok? they need to be for the MIL's to function (depending on the MIL's - mine required them).

Reset the ECU lately?

Wires are about 4 months old, I have the FMS 8.5mm wires. Computer got reset again when I installed the new O2's so far 2 days and no CEL. I have had it only misfire on me once since then, unfortunately the CEL doesnt stay on. If it flashes on and off would the ECU keep a record of it, as in store a code?

It should be in there as a stored code. Check that and it may give you the answer.
