If you care about whats going to happen to the car after its donated, dont donate it! It may get fixed up in the begining, but the car will probably be given to some poor a** family who wont have the money to give it the tender lovin care that a Contour SVT needs. Even if YOU dont want to scrap it, it will probably make it to a scrap yard within a year anyway. Please Please give, or sell it to a fellow CEG member and keep its memory alive. Rather, dont let it become "just a memory".  Im all up for the selling, but if you want to give it away I would be willing to take it off your hands in exchange for a small donation to your shelter.  I have an SVT and I know plenty about them and I wouldn't mind owning two. There are plenty of other Contour owners on here who feel the same way.
