Girlfriend took the car in today, told her to have them check the brakes while they had it on the hoist for an oil change

they actually told her the front brakes are fine (usually that never happens when a woman takes it in) even more so that I have 90,000 Km on those from pads, original rotors too

how ever @ 162,000 my shoes are in need of being replacd


anyone know the rought cost on the shoes, ill just do them myself

About $25 for shoes, you should replace the hardware kit, springs and such for $15 or so. If you need drums it gets expensive, about $80-$120.

And about $15 bux each to get em turned at a local shop/parts dealer

looked at the drums, there fine in side, nice and smooth no wear grooves, shoes have maybe 1/8" of meterial left, no rivets

someting to do within the next month
