I recently purchased a SVT front bumper, had it painted and I installed it and now have a problem. I went to install the front grille which I had to order seperately and the gap between the top of the grille opening and the lower opening is spread to far that the grille cant close the gap. I belive there is suposed to be a plactic piece that holds the two parts together but I do not have that on mine. I looked at some part places online and I believe the part that I need is called a bumper stay? Can anyone varify that for me? ill add the link to where I got that part: web page
thanks for the help in advance!

I know what you are referring to - it is a black plastic piece that runs from the bumper to the bottom of the bumper cover.

It's not necessary to have that - mine got disconnected shortly after I got it and it's been fine for over 4 years without it.

Get the proper clips for the grille.
Clip the upper tabs of the grille and bumper all the way across.
Push up on the lower part of the bumper to get the tabs up and lined up.
Clip the lower.

Yeah I actually ordered he correct SVT clips from the dealer and they are a pain in the arse to install. Ill try your method but it would be nice to not have all that pressure on the grile and clips. Anyone what a name for that part?
