Well I drove 500kms today to pick up my SVT rear bumper to find out that it was a regular tour bumper. I told the parts person at least 20 times over the phone I want a 98-99 SVT rear bumper not an SE because he kept looking my car info on the computer, and kept asking if it was for the 95 tour? and I replied everytime yes itâ??s for the 95 tour but I want a 98 or 99 SVT rear bumper.
So I ended up going home disappointed and heart broken because I could never afford the SVT rear at $1400. Thats a big change from the $360 that i was intially quoted.

I still need to get the matching rear for my front, anyone know where i can get a good deal other than the States. Can't ship bumpers from the US thru UPS or FedEx package exceeds the max allowable size. So i need to find a deal North of the border.
my car and I appreciate all the help of getting the 18's rollin again.

That does suck. 500km and nothing to show for it.
$1400 for the SVT rear bumper cover?
Where are you shopping, at a Ferrari dealership.

I'm sure you've called Auto wreckers.
have you tried www.car-parts.com
I find they don't list much, but I use them to find wreckers.

I will check with my friend who works at a ford dealership. If I can get you one cheap I will let you know. I get his discount which is very good, I'd say 50-60 % off (judging by my last purchases). I will let you know either way the next few days if I can get ahold of him.

Other then that you can check with Bill Jenkins (or whoever replaced him). There has to be a way to ship them over. I got my sideskirts from him and they were a good deal.

yah i'm going to try Bill Jenkins replacement and see if they can ship to Canada. I had problems with shipping the front bumper from the States so i assumed the same thing would happen with the rear too.

just recieved my MSDS headers today to find out that they sent me the 3 bolt flange y-pipe instead of the 2 bolt.
this could get more interesting; my new exhaust should be in sometime this week so i'm hoping that trubendz messes up and sends me a 3 bolt flange pipe instead of the 2. BUT with my luck they will most likley send the correct pipe.

Yah, I had no problems getting my side skirts shipped to me, cost like $28 US and took 11 days, no big deal at all....now if only I could find someone to help me install them!

And if you guys do find a cheaper way of getting the SVT rear bumper I'm definitely interested in that....I fricking closed the garage door on my car last night and the stupid thing nailed my bumper and now there's a 1/2 gap between the bumper and trunk lid and rear panels....not to mention the bumper is completely gouged...frick I'm such an idiot!

thanks for the offer but it looks like i'm going to shop locally from now on, shipping is just plain pain in the azz. things are always late, if not go missing and sometimes get damaged.
