Hi All
I don't know if anyone has seen it, but CRZYDRVR is selling strut tower bars that he has made up for $60 US, including shipping in the US. Corresponded with him some, and he said he would do the same price shipped to the GTA.
Take a look at the link here:

http://www.contour.org/ubbthreads/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=genmods&Number=556191&page=0&view=collapsed&sb=5&o=7&fpart=1&vc=1

Not pretty, but they seem to be effective. If anyone is interested, we could maybe order a bunch of them in one shot and have them shipped to one local address. Help with shipping and customs and all those good things.
Seems to be a good guy to deal with anyway, so contact him if you have any more questions.
Erik

I'm not a huge fan of that style of RSTB (just pushed out on strut towers). My personal opinion is to get one that can be welded to the strut towers.

I think I'd sooner do a front brace as it is supposed to make a bigger difference before I hit on a rear one. Also need to keep my pocket book tightened up till this coolant issue is resolved.

Actually on our cars the rear makes a much bigger difference as compared to the front. When I put the FSTB on mine the diff was negligable, but with the RSTB the whole reare of the car felt tighter, more predicatable and it got rid of many of the sqeeks my car had developed

They look not bad, I'd be in if we could weld it in place only because it would be much more effective.Or we could all make our own with a couple of hiem joints and a tubular aluminium bar.
