While drivimg at variable highway speeds 50 - 60 mph the RPM's shot up as if the car is in Nutruel, the slows because of this the the trans "bangs" and thrust the car foward before repeating the same issue. I let go of the accelorator reaply it and it continues until i slow down to about 40. What the hell is the problem, can it be the "TSS"? Before this it would do the 1 - 2 bang, i discontect the battery which fixed the problem for now, also while driving i get a check engine light but only when going highway speed.

Please help me I'm broke and don't want to lose my girl?

First of all, go to Autozone and get the code pulled. Come back here and let's see what the code is and we will go from there.

If I had to guess right now, I would have to say Range Sensor (MLP Sensor). Although it could be any number of electrical issues that could cause it as well.

But we wont go that far yet. Get the code read and let's start there.
