How close is the University to the airport in Omaha? I'm flying in on Friday for the weekend to watch my girlfriend play soccer out there. She's on the Western Michigan soccer team. Is the easiest way to the soccer field by taxi or is there another alternative I should consider? I think I'm going to end up staying with one of the Dad's and another girls boyfriend in a hotel, but not positive. What is there to do as well in that area? Just curious about this stuff, thanks.

The university is fairly close to the airport. I would probably take a taxi. There are casinos in nearby council bluffs, iowa if you like to gamble. There is also the Henrly Doorly Zoo with it indoor rain forest and desert dome exhibits, as well as an IMAX theater. You may want to check out the Old Market in downtown Omaha also. If you get bored and have a car, cruise on Dodge Street and look for a race.

HAHAHAHAHAHAA

FYI, I was sort of kidding. Omaha was actually rather interesting. Coming from Detroit your "inner-city" is a lot more friendly and safe looking at least. The Old Market area was fun for the 2 nights we were down there. I'm sure living there it might get old though after a while. We didn't make it to the zoo, but some of the other people did and said it was pretty decent.

Tim, remember all the gays were riding motorcycles?? I loved SF. We weren't exposed to too many gays. That dude with the bush was definitely gay.
