The Greddy E-manage is the cheapest version of that. It can clamp the volts at a set level and then can control 2 extra injectors totally programable. It's supposed to do timing also but it's not compatible with our timing/ecu.

The Zetec DOES NOT have the 19lb injectors. IIRC we have 15 or 16 lb which are rated to 175hp.

the SVT contour has 19lb injectors and it works for the stock 200hp and then some

I can't remember what the 19lb injectors were rated up to...got to go check the General Mods forum.

First what does "IIRC" mean?

Second, I've searched this seriously in the Focus forums and they all but stated that the Focus ZX3 has 19lb/hr injectors and my dad has a Focus, and it's fuel injectors look exactly like my fuel injectors; even down to the numbers on the side.

And if the SVT 19s work for 200+, remember they have two more injectors than ours. 150whp is max for stock zetec injectors and that's at 100% duty cycle and around 4.8v on the MAF.

You also shouldn't push past the stock redline with boost. That's what kills engines. That and deto. Like I said building a turbo setup can be done cheap, it's engine management where you'll spend the cash.

Yes, .8 bar is over 11 PSI, that does not count as "low" pressure.

What the f they mean by "kg" for pressure I have no idea.

Didn't search hard enough....Zetec does not have 19lb injectors. Our injectors are rated up to 175hp....I have done research on this too.

Are your injectors grey with these numbers on the side?

0280 155 887

On the other side this:

XS4U-AA

These are for the returnless fuel system. If so I believe they're 19lbs.

I asked him and he explained me that wrongly some people use Kgs as BARs... but that it was the same thing:

1 BAR = 1.02 Kg/Cm^2 and both are pressure units.... but that saying Kilos was easier than saying BARS...

And the 0.8 Bars is indeed 11.6 PSI.

In their rating, that is really LOW pressure, for they have some engines running with more than 2 BARs !!!

I think that is because they have the option to have ALCOHOL as the fuel (which he told me 80% of the high pressure turbos are running on), and it is more resistant to compression.

11-12psi on a stock block Zetec is HIGH boost. It's almost more than you want to run. You need seriously good tuning and decent gas to run that much. Definitley can't run it without an intercooler.

Like I said timing is the key. Pull enough just before boost kicks in and add alittle back in the upper rpms to cool the EGTs and it should live. A good rule of thumb is half a degree per 10 hp up to 200whp then 1 degree for every 10hp after that.

A few Focus are running 200whp with stock timing and just a fifth injector/fuel cut defender setup, but some can't run 5psi with out knocking. Part of that may be some can use 93 octane and some only get 91. Big difference in octane between regular gas 87 and 93 octane here. If you can only get 91, you need more timing pull.

And if you try to experiment with adding back timing, do it in half degree increments. I speak from experience.
