if they are only giving you a 1 year warranty on an Optima, they are screwing you.
all Optimas carry a 3 year free replacement from Optima and the dealer must adhere to that.
and every time you return it for a new one the warrnaty starts all over.

which reminds me, i need to get my car to a body shop for an estimate to fix the paint damage from my optima!

really...
they must have just changed that.
because the optima i bought 2 years ago had a 3 year.
as did the one i got under warranty, and the one i just got after SZ.
they all had 3 year warranties.
and when i spoke to optima directly, they said it was a 3 year warranty.

are they normally in stock or do you have to get it ordered? I went there and they had one optima in stock, and it had a 3 year warrenty btw, we looked optima up in the computer and found one that could be right but the part number listed as R34980 and 34980, but the optima web site says 8003-151 for the part number

i saw some in autozone today. redtop said 3 year warranty and yellowtop 2 year warranty so maybe it just depends on which one u get. i think both said free replacement for a year then prorated for rest of time. redtop was 84 months prorated, i found that strange but i wasnt buying so i didnt bother to get the details from them
