OP jtmccann81 CEG\'er J Joined: Jul 2005 Posts: 83 new jersey	while driving in the rain today the wiper linkage broke. The part between the motor and the ball joint it sits on broke off the ball joint. It will stay on for a few wiper passes then fall back off. rwea14 CEG\'er R Joined: Feb 2005 Posts: 154 Merrimac, ma	YES YES YES, all I did is just take a larger drill bit and drill out the two holes in the arms. After that find a bolt that is just about a 1/2 inch longer and a little narrower..take a locking nut and tighten it so there is a little play.. It has worked so far..good luck it is cheaper than the new linkage... 1998.5 Silver Frost SVT #4978 of 6535 160,000 miles and still going..
