I am not totally done with the SVT yet...
I am going to put on a new filter, new plugs, new axle, and then go get it dyno tuned again. 3L turbo set-up.
Then I might sell it. I like the car, don't get me wrong, but I am looking for something nicer and more refined. I guess I am just growing up...I have my 2nd child on the way, and I am looking for a house right now and with my new job...I have very little time, so I have thought of a couple posssible cars. I will drive them all and decide what I like the most. This won't be in the next month or anything...maybe in the next year...
01-03 BMW M3 (although I really would like a 4dr sedan, I will give ti a chance) 00-03 BMW M5 Cadillac CTS V I thought about the Volvo s60R and the Audi S4
I have always been a huge BMW fan and I want to keep the car for a long time. Is there anything else I should be considering?

I did think of that one too...honestly I think they are kind of plain, but I may go and see...I had a WRX that I got bored with very quickly.
I guess I am still leaning towards the BMW's... I feel like that's a car I would be happy to keep. My dad still has his 97 540 and still likes it.

Not much can compete with those cars!
I take it you want a manual transmission, yes? Hence not mentioning any Mercedes.
I think you'd probably be happy with a BMW 540i as well as the other cars you mentioned. Just drive it before the M5. I think the Acura TL is a hot car and the new IS300 is very nice, too. They're both very "grown up."
BTW, congrats on #2!

Why not go for an older M3 4-door and have it worked over by Dinan? Probably end up costing the same money as a later M3, if not less, and should be really quick and refined.
For example, Carmax has a '98 M3 sedan (auto) for $20K. Dinan's Stage 3 setup adds a supercharger and full suspension plus other stuff for $10K more. Bumps it to 340 horsepower and 307 lb/ft torque.

When was the last time you drove a RWD in the snow in CO? Need to consider whether you really want a RWD that bad as opposed to getting better traction in a FWD .
