The car is fine and running in the high 14's, stock! I also met you out on Woodward last fall, we were hangin' out by that car dealership that sells the high end stuff. You pulled in with your 10K HID kit and thats where I first saw your ride

the guy that had that hood commissioned is the same guy that bought my contour off me (my friend). anywho, he is realllly jonesing for cf hood but wasnt impressed with the selection the contours already have. he is thinking of various hood designs that could work for the csvt and will then find another reputable shop to do the job.

sal, the sable looks good. the pics dont do it justice cuz that car looks much better in person. have you ever considered doing something paint-wise? the black hood and tint scream sporty while the paint color semms more conservative. maybe paint the top of the car all black?

i know you were thinking about turbo'ing it. perhaps ADC in AZ, the csvt turbo masters can do something for it! there apparently is also some new supercharger kit available, info in GB section. good luck man!

ps would the Sho V8 motor bolt right into there?

I agree! The front and rear of those years are the nast! I love the SHO front-end!

Definitely look into dropping the V8 into it! Way to be original!

Hey Steve!

Yeah the V8 will bolt right in.

Im thinking on going N/A for the time being... then plan the rest of my engine stuff. I want more power now DAMN IT!

Anyhow, tons of plans not enough money...lol

As for the paint... I unno, will do with time.

I used to troll around on TCCA a long time ago, and iirc a few guys were trying to swap the MTX-75 into taurus/sables...did anyone ever succeed?
