as far as finding a CSVT within your budget just keep looking, they are out there... I currently own 2 - bought the first one with 62k for 1300 and the second with 137k for 2800. I got sick of bickering with the man about when and what days a week he can borrow mine so I we bought another one and we both couldn't be happier... I love driving either of those cars.
This is coming from a owner of a well done cougar that has always had GAUDY wings on her cougar that ruins the look.
You and your new STI will play well together though. Traction is nice to have for once. God knows it takes alot to get tours and cougs to get traction.
