I remember when they "laced out" one of those on Unique Whips for Byron Leftwich Good luck getting it together as I'm sure parts aren't going to be that easy to find, thank God for the internet!

Nice find. Hope it goes well for you.
My dad also has a gem in the garage, covered up collecting dust is a 73 Mercury Capri 2600cc V6 4 on the floor, and he bought it brand new, seen one winter and has 43,XXX original miles on it. Original paint too. He won a car show or 2 with it, a first or 2 firsts and a 2nd or 2 2nd places I can't remember. Bad thing is the carb is shot he needs to rebuild or get a new one. But don't really have the money to get it out on the road...wish he did.

Thanks for the compliments/well wishes guys. This is not going to be an overnight project & I'm in no rush whatsoever, I barely have time or money to keep the tour rolling but I couldn't pass this up. If i can get it running I'll bring it down to my house & just take my time & do it right.

Damn bud how are you doing? Actually I've just came in from putting a tranny in my wifes SE the one that has been broken for over 2 years! I should wrap it up early tomorrow & that should keep her happy for a while, unless she catches the Mod bug. She has been driving my SVT at least once a week & is trying to talk me into replacing her ATX with an MTX!

My great uncle has a Continental like that. He takes it to shows. I think you'll have fun with it!
