Any good exhaust shop should be able to align your tips before they weld that gay ass slip joint up

Bend your car's passenger hanger so that it compensates for the unequal spacing of your tips, and weld them onto the car. Obviously rubber gives way, so there's no way around it.

Best torch for bending the hangers? i tried propane, DEF not hot enough.

Tourique wrote: werd, trubendz is teh suck.. my tips suck ass as being alligned, even bending the hangers wont do anything cause it moves the other tip back. My one tip is like 1"- 1 1/2" farther out than the other.

This is the exact same problem I had with my Trubenz exhaust. The passenger side stuck out a good 2" farther than the driver side.

I ended up paying a muffler shop $50 to cut and reweld the passenger tip so it was the same as the driver.

If I'd known the Trubenz quality I would have bought something else.

To the original poster, if you are bent on no welding, get some of the muffler repair putty. It will set up like cement and will last a whole lot longer than JB weld would.

Go to autozone or whatever parts store is closet to you and get a reducer,as in the little piece of exhaust pipe that goes from say 2.5 inch to 2.75 inch (or whatever sive you need.Still be cheaper and work better than the JB Weld.

There is exhaust leak sealers sold at part stores. I used some on my escort just because we had some in the shop and it's my beater. If I were you, I'd get it welded.
