well, title says it all.... The car is no longer in service, nor am i going to be putting any more money into it to get it fixed... I will be either parting it out or selling it outright to whoever wants it. ON the way home this morning, the clutch decides to go out, and now the car has no gears, and is no longer movable on its own power. I am so frustrated right now i dont even know wher to begin with the words to describe how i am feeling about this stupid car. But hey, why did i expect it to last forever??? I appreciate all of the great conversations that i have had on the site, and the cool people i have met through it.

Could be a simple fix. A car is going to need maintenance and a new clutch every once in a great while. Why need get it diagnosed? I'm sure stazi could pull the trans for a great price and check it out.

$500 for clutch labor, $30 for FW resurface, $300 for Spec 1. You could even go stock for even cheaper. Under $1000 for a solid car. If the engine has been maintained it will run for much longer. A lot cheaper than new car payments. It's your car though. Do what you want.

good insight todd.... i just think the best thing for my sanity would be to just get rid of it and start anew. I know someone out there would love to take it and make into what it once was and even better.
