Number one...bullet proof engine

Number two...aftermarket bolt-ons, awesome

Number three...price, bang for the buck!

Number four...6 spd and RWD, w/torque=FUUUUUUUUUUUN

In addition to the above mentioned things you get this too, MPG When a Corvette with the LS-1 can get 28-30 mpg on the freeway cruzing, thats awesome!

By your fourth semester in college, I would hope you could at least use proper grammar skills and spell correctly.

What do you want to know? I used to own a 99 SS Camaro, almost all SLP options. It was modded when I bought it to around 350rwhp and had 452rwhp when I sold it. Remember that a great many of the F-body LS1 cars are beat on pretty badly, so be careful when looking at any used F-body LS1 as a result. The biggest weak point is the 10 bolt rear on the F-bodies, that and the LS1 engines oftentimes burn/lose oil due to loose internal tolerances thanks to crappy GM engine design. Considering your young age I really would check on the insurance dollars, you could be in for a shock on how much it costs to insure LS1 F-bodies if you're under 25 years of age.

Also, build quality isn't the best either, but if you're after cheap performance, the F-bodies are hard to beat.
