Your Dad has probably heard you and your friends talk about him. As far as hearing of someone, well, I'm sure theres people I've heard of that you haven't either  Its not so much about being old, it has more to do with the music you listen to or can relate to.

w3rd. I'm actually not sure how he's heard of him cause I don't listen to that type of music at all. He definitely thinks he's "cool" because he knows/listens to younger bands and such  . But yeah, I'd rather just listen to some classic rock or indie.
