OP Meztic New CEG\'er M Joined: Mar 2006 Posts: 11	Hey, I have a 99 svt, and I was wondering if you guys know what the knocking sound is I hear when I hit bumps. Its a really hollow sound. My quess is the strut, but it doesnt seem to be out of gas or anything. I compressed the spring, and noticed that there was rubber falling off the top of the spring, could this cause this sound, since it would be metal on metal. Once the fluid dampening ability completely stops they wear out quick and may break from topping out. Do a bounce test on each corner of the car. Also check the swaybar mounting hardware.
