those are listed at spmotorsports as well however I believe they require special wired and are origionally for late model Cougars click me

Yeah, the Accel coil pack needs the 01-02 Cougar plug wires.
Good option for someone changing both, but if you already have good plug wires, just stick to the Ford coil pack.

Has anyone had a failing coilpack for the v6? I thought the failed ones are usually on the 4... but can't remember for sure.

any advantage to this over stock?
i got about 100K on my stock coil and i plan on getting a set of magnecores. if this will give me any benefit on my turbo 3L im working on might as well buy it and the proper wires for it

I just replace mine today!The coil began to misfire and a code came up for bad coil etc.That coil must be a problem since You can,t find any at the junk yard.

Do you pan on running over 18-20PSI? If not, then you don't need to worry about flameout.

really, i blew my sprark plugs out at 16 psi???
