"A three-hour foot and helicopter search failed to find the Ferrari driver."

You'd think they'd just search the registrations for the owners of a Ferrari Enzo... there can't be more than a handful in SoCal... unless it was stolen of course, in which case, some criminal has great taste!

When I first read that, I wondered "how far would an unbelted driver fly after an Enzo crash, anyway?"

The sports car went airborne and struck a power pole 5 to 10 feet off the ground, Brooks said. The car was demolished, but two air bags deployed.

Damn!! The driver was seen running away on foot. He was never found!!

No he wasn't... the passenger claimed that there was a driver who ran off, but the passenger is the owner of the Enzo. There was also blood on his mouth, and blood on the driver's airbag, but none on the passenger's. AND he had been drinking.

I'm amazed at how much of the Enzo is left..... Which isn't much, but I assumed this guy was a goner. And we had a CCEG meet up that way not too long ago .
