On Wednesday we had a blackhawk heli land at our school with a US Army General on board. He use to go to the same school (Hargrave Military Academy) quite some time ago. The 82nd Airbourne choir accompained him. They put on a show in the chapel followed by a speech from the General. Just took some random pictures that you guys might enjoy.

Cool pics, I've got a buddy that's a crew-cheif on Blackhawks. Pretty cool birds.

I live under a Blackhawk highway. Army and Marine birds go over and circle around daily...my 15-month-old will stop and listen for them, and if we're outside he'll try to spot them and sometimes wave. He'll wave when we're inside, too, but not as much.

Hahaha, you're all BAD kids getting sent of to military school!
My parents used to threaten me with that all the time.
Now, I wish they had, I'd be in my present position like eight years ago instead of now.

Nice aircraft, I almost flew them. However, the Apache is better. Firepower, and you don't have to play Taxi for anyone.

LOL. True, but a properly loaded out Blackhawk can shoot in three directions at once.
