I have this really annoying problem with my HVAC, when i turn on the A/C or Defrost, it blows the 30amp fuse under the dash leaving me HVAC-less completely. My heat on the other hand works fine. I already replaced the Heater blower resistor. What would cause this? I've searched and checked the common problems, but found nothing quite like this one.

Assuming this is the Fuse F-37? Do you have a Ford Cd manual, it would be a BIG help, the AC clutch/solenoid, several relays in the BJB fuse box, several swithces (AC compressor cycling, and the dual pressure on the evaporator cans under the battery and a diode on the left side of the passenger side cooling fan are also on that fuse.
It looks like the make contact on the heater blow relay k-14 feeds all this and the heater blower motor.
Unplug the AC compressor clutch (actually pulling relay K-107 in the BJB box - Ac clutch relay would isolate the diode and the clutch solenoid) and the heater blower (connector that plugs into the side of the motor).
I'm looking the wiring diagrams and the associated pictures in the Ford CD manual. The pictures assume you're familiar with the whole car.
This CD manual is mandatory before the guessing begins!!! Ah I mean troubleshooting!

Good Luck
Paul

Battery Junction box -- the fuse box next to the battery. I've been rather busy trying to get ready for a 500 mile trip up around Chicago to visit the almost cheeshead grandson. Do I put my Grand Touring all-season tire on or burn up Blizzak's on the rough riding 14" steel rims?
"Todras" makes copies for us CEG's, rather reasonable! I can't remember if the relays are marked in the lid of the fuse box or not?

Almost sounds like you've got a short. Get the old wire testers out I suppose.

Run the all seasons of course! Don't ruin a good set of blizzaks.
