I wanted to put a cat back exhaust system on my 99 SE but this guy said I couldn't and if I did I will lose power cause I could have no more than 1pipe is this true

"This guy" is an idiot.
You can bolt on any numbers of exhausts. SVT, Tru-bendz, et cetera...
Power gains are in the 3-6 FWHP/TQ range.

what about a Focus cold air intake will that work on my contour cause the one I found for my contour cost about 234

BTW - I've used it 3 times in the last 3 weeks.
