The new Limewire is good, WinMX is good but outdated now, SoulSeek has it's advantages. I actually have so much music now that if I just want one song I use iTunes, and if I like the album I buy it anyway, so I'm pretty much legit. Oh, and Gnutella is blocked by PSU, so most programs don't work anyway.

I've gotten sick of the viruses/spyware and low-quality crap on the free sites. How does iTunes work out?
Also, anyone else use other legit/pay sites?

Of course... because no one one here uses any illegal ones!

iTunes is nice. The licencing is pretty broad, and payment is very easy once you set up an account. You can also beat the licencing, I'm sure, by burning a CD of a licenced song and then ripping it. As a matter of fact, I think I'll go try it now.

Yup, that did the trick. I now have unlimited access to a plain-jane mp3 file Windows Media Player made for me.

I have the yahoo music service. I definitly get my 4.99 a month listening to it at work, but you still have to pay .79 a song on top of that to download anything.

www.emusic.com, PM me if you want a referral. It's not very mainstream but if you like jazz, blues, alternative, indie/small label stuff, it's really quite good and reasonably priced.
