so, Lancer EVO's are pretty slick stock right?

how about a customized EVO running at 471 HP?

a friend let me take his tricked out EVO for a spin and I felt like I was in some sort of blurry tunnel as the boost kicked in... never have I gone so fast.

I'll have to grab a pic for you guys.

he was also a fan of the svt - wooo wooo!

I love Evo's. Can't wait till I own one. I fell in love with them way before they even came to the U.S. It was like a dream come true when I heard they were introduced here a while back.

I actually came VERY close last year to trading in the SVT for a WRX sedan with the Sti rims, shifter and instrumentation....didn't like the lag down low, but it felt very strong once the tach got above 4k. Nothing a larger wastegate, larger exhaust and blow-off valve wouldn't cure It was actually really nice to have heated seats and mirrors with the AWD

Yes, I would LOVE an Sti or a Evo for that matter, but some dimwit at this dealership ordered up a bunch of (what should have been) STi only parts and slapped them on a WRX...for WRX money....Yeah, I know it isn't the same, but the gauge cluster(s), shifter, 17" STi rims and the "optional" heated seats/mirrors was nice
