When i drove from TX out to NC i hit a few potholes along the way and my alignment is fine, but there is a strange ticking noise coming from my left front wheel. Any ideas?

Did you get a rock in the tire tread.

Jack up that side, have a helper start the car then put it in drive with his foot over the brake. Only the wheel that is jacked up will spin (block the other wheels just to be safe). See if you hear the ticking still. Could be CV (usally only does that on turning though)

Oh don't give it any gas when it's jacked up. You want to make that a short test and put on safty glasses if you going to be next to it while the wheel is spinning (incase any dirt or rocks come flying off)
