Well.... I sold my contour last week, and I picked up something new. I got a 1983 (yes 1983) volvo 760 with 104k original miles in really really nice shape. Has IPD sway bars and no rust.

Oh yea, it has an LT1 and T56 from a vette in it.

Congrats!

I thought you were trying to 'downsize' your fleet?

I sold 2 and a half cars, and bought one, so that is downsizing. Also, I bought the volvo for half what I sold the contour for, so monetaraly I am ahead. Pics next post:

yea, it is pretty cool. I am working a few of the bugs out. The car is in perfect shape. Every suspention bushing and component was just replaced. It has IPD sway bars too. I ordered a 15.75 x 27 x 3" all aluminum radiator for it. It currently has the stock 1983 era radiator and in the hot weather it does not cut it. It doesn't 'overheat' but it slowly climbs to 220 degrees, which is more then the 180ish i am aiming for. Other then that, the exhaust is some very restrictive 2.5" piping, so I am hoping to get that replaced sometime soon.

The car is absolutly balls out. It weighs 500 lbs less then a comprably powered camaro so it should be darn quick, not to mention hold 4 people comfortable and all my crap. Oh yea, I am going to get a trailer hitch for it too.
