Pictures of the Koni Sport Kit on my SVT (if it is not linking paste the URLs into your browser):

Comments:

It dropped the car about 1.5 inches in the front and maybe 0.5 inch in the back. This is likely because the stock back springs were sagging.

The ride quality on the soft setting with the stock rubber is very good and only marginally stiffer than stock. With the 40 series Pirellis the ride is rather choppy even on soft but still acceptable for daily driving.

The handling is much improved as, frankly, the stock SVT suspension sucked (my stock 91 Escort GT on GT+4s could out handle it). The car is still no auto-crosser IHMO but is now a very respectable street car.

The stance of the car is excellent without ass sag and I have had no rubbing problems with the 18 inch rubber.

I would recommend the kit.

BTW there was NO backorder. I got the kit within days of my order.

Looks good.

Did you order from ajusa.com?

I'll be in your town w/ my GF next month (Vancouver, BC right?) No SVT, though . Hope the weather's good!

Any suggestions on what to do while I'm there?

I'm thinking maybe... Koni Sport springs? The ones that came with his Koni Sport Kit?

Thanks. I ordered the kit from a local speed shop that does alot of business with Koni.

I grew up in Vancouver, but don't live there anymore (It was probably the Stanley Park sign in that picture that made you think that...that's another Stanley Park... a much smaller one in Calgary). Vancouver is a fantastic city and the weather should be really good in August. I'd check out the Whistler area. I'd take the Gondola up Grouse Mountain and check out the views of the city. Hang out at Kits beach and watch the scenery. Shop on Robson Street. Heck, you could even check out Brandy's (the infamous strip club that ended up breaking up J-Lo and Ben... if your GF lets you LOL.) I miss Vancouver, it is truly one of the greatest cities in the world.

Thanks. Ya, it's the complete kit. The springs are progressive and reasonable enough for daily use. It's a pretty good all around set-up.

Ford Guy. Can you post your pics though an alternate source. I've tried to check out your pics through 'xs.to' but the site keeps saying it's overloaded. I also run 18" wheels and have Koni Sport Kit on backorder through AJUSA. I am interested in seeing how the car sits with the 18's. Most of the pics I have seen of the Koni kit have been 17's or stock 16's.
