I am in need of a rear control arm ( the flat piece). I went to Furd last night and they basically told me that they could not locate this part from any other dealer and said that this part is in a "pricing dispute" and won't be available until September. Has anyone else heard this or heard of this before?

If I am not mistaken there are four "trailing arms" in the rear two on each side consisting of a thicker one and a thinner one. I recently had to purchase the thinner one from the ford dealer and it cost me $40, this wasn't but two or three weeks ago. Not only was it $40 but it was also in stock, I was pretty surprised.

Trailing arms are longitudinal.
Control arms locate laterally.
The rearmost "control arm," (i.e., the "thin one") is a toe-control, or toe-adjustment arm.
Function before fashion.
