Well I figured I would chime in here and say hi. My wife and I are the proud new owners of the well known 3.0L White Svt.

After 26 1/2 hours (total trip time including layover), ~600 miles round trip, one crazy downpour, and a close call with a speeding ticket she is at her new home.

Surpisingly there were very few bugs from the ride home. I took a few pics you might even notice my work car in the background :.}

To give a quick background we currently own 4 (two are donar cars) Supras and I am building one of them for street/strip use. The other is going to be an original restore basically for my wife. I am guessing it will stay that way until she gets the turbo bug...

We had owned a 1999 Black/Tan SVT in 2002-2003. In late summer (hunting season) of 2003 a deer decided my wife shouldnt be driving it any longer... we did manage to drive the car home that night as neither air bag had went off. The deer almost rolled over the hood. It was close to $7500 in damage.

After that accident we did get the car back in perfect shape and running good as ever. Literally 2 weeks after getting it back a BIG 8 point had the same feelings and this time he was right. The accident caused close to $13,000 in quoted damage and was totalled out. The damage was so bad the moonroof was blown out of the top of the car... Thats what midnight driving on an expressway at 75-80 mph will do I guess.

Since then we have regretted not picking up another SVT. So we recently sold our Eddie Bauer Explorer and were on the hunt when Spikes car came up for sale.

I am glad sites like this exist. There are so many good reasons to join and learn along with everyone else. So on that note hi and here are two quick pics.

That's quite a story, hope you didn't get hurt in either of those accidents. The deer are bad up here too but luckily I've never hit one. Glad to see you returned to the Contour. Good luck on the Supra's, and try to avoid any disgruntled deer in the new SVT.

Oh, and welcome back to the CEG.

Thanks everyone! I am glad to be back.

The SHO is an Auto and I have yet to really run the SVT.

So give me a few weeks and I will have a good bit of info on that.

That's really nice. I think I remember seeing that thing on FCO.
