This isn't mine, it's jthursby's. I'm getting one done on my next change. James- give us some deatils: 1) How hard do you run your car? Redline often? Back-road drives at 3-4k+ very often? Any auto-x or drag racing? 2) What is typical useage for you? What percentage of miles on trips under 10 miles, 10-100 miles, over 100 miles, etc? 3) I see you used Mobil 1, what kind of filter did you use? I'm getting one done after my next oil change, and I run my car pretty hard, so it'll be interesting to see the difference. Note: I saw some personal info, so I converted to jpg and cleaned it up for you.

I run the car pretty hard, It sees 6 or 7 thousand on the tachometer daily, a lot of full tilt on and off ramps, and doesn't go more than a couple of days without seeing triple digit speeds (on a track of course). I also maintain the car very well. I have been running Mobil one since 20 thousand and K&N filters since 35 or 40 thousand. I have a oil separator and it usually has a few ounces in it between oil changes. It uses no oil between changes. I go anywhere from 4 thousand to 6 between changes and this is the first analysis I have done. I also change out the fuel filter every other oil change. A lot of my runs are in the 15 to 40 mile range although the car has gone Kissimme to Plant City never going under a hundred the whole way more than once. (41 year old sane man disclaimer dont try this in your contour )

Awesome! I can't wait for my report... I have about 2 solid hours of 5k+ rpm autocross school on this oil, and some long 3k+ rpm highway trips. The rest of the mileage will mostly be my 7-10 mile commute. I have been changing at 3k miles, but I think I'm going to get this checked at 5k miles, or maybe even 6k miles.

Blackstone labs, linky, are supposed to be good. I have a kit from them ready to go. $20 for an analysis, another $10 gets you additive information for extended change intervals.
