i have the cougar shift knob, and no the insert is plastic not aluminum. I also have billet pedals in my SVT. What color is your SVT? I don't think the polished b&m would fit well with anything but MNB interior.

My insert is metal for sure. I scratched a piece of it to be certain, I know some came with a plasctic insert, but like I said, mine is metal. As for what color interior, I have Prarie Tan (note pic ). I think it goes fairly well with the interior, especially with the other accents. Not as well as the midnite blue, but it works.

nah, i was asking about the interior...wasn't paying attention though, didn't see SVT on the floor mats and didn't even notice the seat, so i thought it was just a "reference" pic.
