Which is why my friends have brought several bottles of
this back to the states after visiting London. I will vouch for this stuff. "Produced in Czech Bohemian mountains"
It tastes like herbal black licorice. And, as others have stated, it is a different kind of drunk. It's uplifting and clear and crazy on top of the 55% alc. drunk. Get the real stuff from the EU or don't waste your $.
That said, I've never been moved to buy it online. The cost is prohibitive. I can buy a lot more beer, tequila, vodka, bourbon, etc for the same money as a bottle or two of absinthe. I've had other friends try to make some with poor but drinkable results.
