whats the factory compression supposed to be for that cylinder?

i would think the compression should be the same on all cylinders.... the closer they are the better.... from the factory the svt's were 10.25 to 1.0 as compression. now what that works out to in psi on a gauge when checking? i dont know... check the other cylinders they all should be fairly close. maybe someone else knows more

tomorow, i'm taking the contour in for a compression test and hope fully we will find out that it didnt blow a cylinder or a valve....

You want all the cylinders within 10% of each other.


2000 SVT #674 13.47 @ 102 - All Motor! It was not broke; Yet I fixed it anyway.
