Stock right now is ~280-290hp....not much of a jump, but still respectable.
Stock for the 2004 GT was 260 friend. A jump of 40 horses is more than "not much."

im trying to talk my wife into getting one for her. although it would probably be atx V6. my buddy asked me why i wouldnt want to get her the GT or Cobra and i simply replied, "Do you think I'm going to let my wife drive around in a brand new cobra while i tool around in a contour!?" luv my tour but cant have the wife drivin around in a car that could SPANK mine! that would be SO wrong! cant get it for me cuz the tour is my 3rd ride in the last year. its her turn for a new ride.

see the good thing about living in michigan, ive seen at least 2-3 everyday for about 3 months now, and we are now seeing a couple of ford GTs. its fun comparing which color you saw with everyone.. lol
ive already got to test drive these babies 4 times and i want one...i want one reallllllll bad!
