todras (its the new word for search)
no, its not really worth it. even if it was getting one for 1500 would be about as easy as pooping one out. 90k miles doesn't matter if your engine is in good shape. your car could have 10k miles but if your engine isn't doing too well then nothing works. read the FAQ, search for "turbo" "ADC" and "Street Flight"

i'd say stick with a turbo, if you live in cali tho, vortech is the only way to go for forced induction. My friend had one in his cougar, worked really really well, and then it broke and vortech wouldnt help him.

Vorcrap...BLAH!
Do yourself a favor, and what ever money you have for it, save it for a turbo form Arizona Dyno Chips (AKA Street Flight)...By far the best and most reliable in forced induction.
For the issues you may have with the Vorcrap, you will probably end up spending more on it then with the Turbo.
Also they inclued everything in the turbo, including an intercoler and i beleive the chip for tuning (not quite sure on that).

there's always the nitrous option in Cali too. I'd be much happier to run nitrous than the vortec..... if i had to choose.
Totally sold out for a 90 GT vert.... 1/4 mile is almost the same as my modded svt w/n2o was...

Theres nothing wrong with a properly done 3L either. I realize it's not F/I, but still. P&P heads on a 3L and all the other goodies. Demon's 13.9 is ahead of a lot of F/I cars in the 1/4 mile. Froma roll I'm sure the F/I's have the advantage, but he's still not to be taken lightly.

And there's nothing wrong with a Vortech 3L either, what was that Buckshot? 400 FWHP?

It's ahead of EVERY Vortech and that makes me beam from ear to ear on a daily basis.
Next time out I'll push the mark even lower since I'll be wearing the drag radials. (my kingdom for some traction )

He was back calculated to 396 based on his Mustang dyno readings IIRC.

I haven't had any issues with my kit. For the price I'm selling it for (and goodies included) you'd have $4,000 to address future reliability before matching the cost of a turbo.
