Got another oil analysis - all looks good except a high iron reading - any ideas what that could be or is Blackstone's analysis correct that there isn't a problem?

i'd say if they said there isn't a problem, then there isn't one.

+1, if it continued getting higher as you retested then I'd be a little concerned, but the tests are pretty spaced out there. I'd consider doing a back-to-back test in that situation...

Hang out at bob is the oil guy for a while and learn more about intrepreting an oil analysis. They have forums for oils as well as forums for used oil analysis and virgin oil analysis. The oil analysis forums includes postings of many subscribers that post their reports from Blackstone and others.
