mod bug, i think i got it too!
I got the cross drilled rotors and KVR brake pads couple of weeks ago, I'm waiting for the Stainless Steel Brake Hoses (in the mail, i think), and i'm in the process of getting wheels(back order).
Plans on the table for the summer:
1) custom tuned ship
2) 75 shot dry kit
3) pre-97 hellahydro kit

Side skirts were 120 / side from Bill Jenkins. Still waiting on them tho, I think thats US fundage tho...

What wheels did you get and if you don't mind could you tell me all the incidental charges that you have to pay (brokerage, duty, taxes) to clear customs. I am very interested in getting some wheels/tires but I am worries about taking a beating at the border.

i got the Enkei RS5 in 18" with Parada Spec-2s. GST and brokerage came out to $180 and duty is going to be around $100, so you will probably will be looking at $300+ because you guys have PST too.
probably $50-70 less if you get 17"s, brokerage is flat rate so that wont change and if you get US made products you wont get charged duty (the Enkeis and Yokohamas are made in Japan so i got screwed, i wish i know before i ordered).

so summer didnt last long... and running around with my rims and tires is pretty scary this morning. If your in edmonton and havent looked outside... DONT! go back to bed for a few days!

to make it even worse my car will be lowered today... im thinking 2.5 inches on the front and 1.5 on the back..

pics to come.

and still no side skirts

I'd hit it, we should meet before the end of this month. Me and Brokk wanted to have a meet soon, so this is the chance!!!
Let's have a date let's see how about the 25th?
Posted By: advocate_dup1 Re: Updates with new pic - 04/21/03 11:03 PM
i may be good for whenever, depends on work tho...

anyways here's an updated pic of my tique cleaned up a hair.

click me for contour pr0n

took the car to Saskatchewan on the weekend. handled nicely. big turns at high speeds have almost no roll.

we did catch some air tho on a big dip in the road. i was just able to grab the steering wheel in time - i had cruise set to 130 and when we hit air it reved up for a second before coming down, bounced once and was back to normal.

it was a fairly comfortable ride tho (thanks ford for the not too stiff seats)

next up are sideskirts....
