you mean $1500+ per SVT rear bumper only, not including sides or front.

All I have to say is GOOD FREAKING LUCK! Took me two years to get together 1 set of side skirts, a rear spoiler, and a rear bumper for my mystique without paying more than $1000 for parts and shipping. It's virtually impossible to find those parts around here, or even Canada. I browsed US auction websites for wrecked cars, eBay, and searched for people who wrote of an SVT. Brand new for those parts...well here's an email I got from Ford:

Hi,

1. To paint and install side skirts $500.00 and the skirts are approx. $450 a side

2. To buy the Contour SVT bumper, paint and install it would be $2155.00 approx. The bumper itself to purchase new from Ford is $1720.00 approx.

Hope this helps.

Wow that is pricey!

I had mine painted and installed for about $300. I ordered mine through Bill Jenkins, they were not that pricey and were SVT sides.

Yah, the Ford stuff is nuts when you pay regular price. When it came down to it in the end I paid $50 for my spoiler, $80 for my side skirts, $105 for the exhaust, and $300 for the bumper and then installation and painting of it all ran $1050, and then when you add shipping onto everything it came to around $2000 total. Yes it coulda been done cheaper, but they did a good job on it all, and I think I did pretty could considering how much it could've run. Anyways, just so you have some price points to use if you're doing some shopping.

That ain't bad considering i paid over $2000 for exhaust alone "$695US for headers, $595US for exhaust, $125US for test pipe" and thats not including shipping and installation.

Wow, what kind of exhaust is that tho? And that's prolly brand new too, right? Mine's of an SVT that was written off with about 60,000 miles on it, got it all inspected before installed of course and it was A-OK, and under warranty I had new stock headers installed, but I'm sure you're getting improved response and a better increase in power from that setup then a stock SVT setup.

brand new MSDS headers, 2.5" Trubendz stainless steel resonated system (2 MagnaFlow res. and muffler) with 3" tips, and stainless steel MagnaFlow catted test pipe.
