Some final thoughts..things not to forget to bring - 05/12/05 09:30 PM
Spring Zing is right around the corner. I just wanted to compose a list of things people might want to consider bringing or do before coming.
- Cash!. We have many events organized such as the drag strip, autocross, etc that need cash payed up front. Check the main thread stickied at the top for exact prices. Also, your going to want to bring money for the banquet raffle. Were raffling off a ton of great prizes so dont forget to buy a ticket or two! Oh yeah, and there is talk of a few people hitting up the strip clubs as well.
- Helmet if your racing. If your planning to race in the autocross, a helmet is required. If your car runs faster than a 14.0 in the quarter mile, then a helmet is required if your planning to drag at Osceola.
- Tools. You may be want to install parts while your here from the part swap, or install parts from the banquet door prizes/raffle. Its not a bad idea to bring a long some tools as well, in case you break something either.
- Sunscreen and Folding Chair. Its probably going to be a pretty nice day of the Show N Shine. If your like Roger, you might want to bring some sunscreen.
- Car Care Products. Some people probably wont be detailing their car until the day of the Show N Shine. A good detail could be the deciding factor between taking home a trophy for your specific class.
- Camera and/or Video Recorder. Not only are you going to want to remember this event, but the Big Chinaman is going to want your footage to make a SZ video!
On a side note: 114 octane is available here locally for you forced induction guys that are dynoing. Its $34.95 for a 5 gallon drum.
