I'm starting a thread for those thast ARE bringing items for sale\trade to post what they're bringing.

I recomend not listing prices simply to prevent the thread from getting locked.

So here goes:

4 Poly roll resistors.

2 optimized and ceramic coated 2-bolt y-pipes.

1 set of Post 98 sail panels(if someone says they're interested).
Posted By: MapOfTaziFoSho Re: Parts at SZ. - 05/02/05 09:05 PM
You want my old 2 bolt LCA's to play around with?!
Posted By: slingersvt Re: Parts at SZ. - 05/02/05 09:08 PM
I say...just add to this to keep it clean (don't clutter this up)

1.) 4 Poly roll resistors.
2.) optimized and ceramic coated 2-bolt y-pipes.
3.) 1 set of Post 98 sail panels(if someone says they're interested).
4.) Modified Oil Pan w/ baffles (hole for S/C line feed would have to be plugged)...unless I sell it before we leave!!

My 3.0L swap has gone way overbudget and I need to scale back on my original lofty plans for the car.
I aquired some Group Buy items that are not essential to the swap and therefore must go.

Parts:
ATI Rear Subframe (from last GB)
HO Alternator (from last GB)
Polly Roll Resistor (from Pole GB) if he sells his first.

Still debating on letting go of;
MSDS Headers and Y Pipe - Extreme Ceramic Coat (from last GB)

What can I say, I went GB happy.
But I realize now that a 3.0L swap is not cheap by any means.
Posted By: Stazi Re: Parts at SZ. - 05/03/05 08:14 PM
At least keep the headers and roll resisitor otherwise you're crazy doing a 3L without them!

I know you're right. I'm really agonizing over this one.
But, I'm thinking maybe I'll just go with an optimized Y.
Like the one pole is selling.
I still need $$ to get a bunch of other stuff and I have to cut somewhere.
Question: If you had to choose between an LSD and the headers what would you do? I know its not apples to apples but the point is money is tight and everything has to be prioritized.
Would it be crazier not to get the trans upgraded than not getting headers?
Posted By: Y2KSVT Re: Parts at SZ. - 05/03/05 09:31 PM
Depends on your driving style.. I'd personally go LSD first, because I do a lot of launcing, which is a BIG on the stock differential. Headers can always be installed later down the road when you have the money, and the need for an extra ~10-15HP

Mark
Posted By: KingpinSVT Re: Parts at SZ. - 05/03/05 09:44 PM
you'll kick yourself later for not installing either of them with the engine out! keep both. keep saving, you can do it! you will thank yourself later, im sure of it.
Posted By: XKontour98 Re: Parts at SZ. - 05/03/05 09:51 PM
IF i had to choose id go with the LSD as its harder to install than the headers, not that they are easy but at least you wont have to pull the tranny of you decide downt he road that you want to add one. The stock diff is by far the weakest link in the tranny so id start there.
Posted By: MapOfTaziFoSho Re: Parts at SZ. - 05/03/05 11:15 PM
LSD.
Posted By: BiggsvT28 Re: Parts at SZ. - 05/03/05 11:38 PM
LSD, if you want to cheap out on the roll resistor do what a few of us have done and run a strip of steel to eliminate the mount altogether. (search under username keyser). It adds a bit of nvh, but works very well.
Posted By: Pre98 Re: Parts at SZ. - 05/04/05 03:41 PM
Oh man, I have an aszload of parts I've taken off the car! I'll bring all of it, I hope it'll come to good use (free or trade):

2.)Stock foglight lamp heads and two stock bulbs (no brackets)

Yes I do! Well here they are on the car but now they are tireless..

They are 16's but compared to the EO's I put on for winter they look lie 17's! They also give the car a pretty mean stance!

These are the same wheels that are in one of the pics that flashes accross the header of the site. I think they are on a teal or a silver car...

BTW they are silver but the way the light hit they seem white. The Brand is MODA.

I need to rear exterior silver door handles for my CSVT, got any?
Posted By: Buckshot77_dup1 Re: Parts at SZ. - 05/12/05 01:19 PM
I'll be bringing some tires-
Brand new 245/45/16's (same kind of tire I had on my car at SZ last year)
Used 225/50/16 R1 road race tires
4- E0 rims with center caps, all 4 probably need checked over for being bent, but would work for a full size spare.

Anyone want any 3L intakes (aluminum split port and plastic oval ports) or 24lb returnless injectors? I've got tons of both.

Drop me a PM if anyone is interested in anything.

Rick

HEY, if anyone has a pair of good tweeters with flush mount capabilites.. bring them. 1 of my polk audio tweeters that I had surface mounted to the door fugged out on me last night, so I had to remove both of them. I need a new pair of good quality ones. PM me if you have some... or if you know of any good audio stores in the FT. Wayne area that has any at a good price.

Don't really care about brand.. as long as they aren't those crap-ass $0.01 Ebay jobbies.

Thanks!
