wonder if the tranny is shot? Just noticed that between 1-10 there is a grinding noise from the front left and when staring or coming to a stop the tanny misses or shifts hard.

Any ideas.

Oh man! Grinding noise? Not a good sign!!

Mine did the same thing for a day or two before my drive chain broke.

Hard shifting... that would be possible sticking or leaking valve in the valve body.

Is the tranny shot? Yeah, in so many words. Sounds like it is time for a rebuild... quick!!
