From TH...

.....a heads up.If you are considering buying a Torsen ATB diff and have encountered supply problems you may have a long wait. At the moment it 'appears' that Ford Racing will no longer offer the ATB diff for the MTX75. This poses the question can/will Torsen supply 'other' outlets with the diff? This and other Torsen supply issues are currently under review buy 'other' aftermarket suppliers within our industry. Bottom line.....this will not be resolved overnight and, at this moment in time, the next 'maybe' date for more MTX diffs is 'around November' so don't hold your breath on this one. If you need a diff your current only choice, unless you can find an owner selling one, is a Quaife.

Yeah, makes sense to stop producing products that fly off the shelf and have 1-2+ month backlogs of orders ... WTF!

Same here. 155k of hard wheelhop and severe abuse - transaxle still shifts like it did in 1995. Nothing done but fluid changes and a clutch at 110k.

Yours is a 98+, and that's our point. The later diffs used a different manufacturing process for the diff gears, and they just are not as durable as the early diffs. I'm not sure what the "cutoff date" is. This is all ATTH, of course.
