Not my car. Long story short...

Scott had todd do his 3L swap and terry built the trans. Todd gets the car going, but 3rd is still grinding. So Scott took it back to Terry and he refunded some money and fixed what turned out to be a faulty ford 3rd gear blocker ring.

There was no pissing matches or finger pointing. Terry took care of the trans and refunded scott some $$ for his troubles of pulling the trans and driving to GR.

What makes me laugh is that I somehow have had suspension installs take longer than this trans swap. "And I was once a noobie..."

WOW that is a pretty good time. That fastest I have seen a tranny swap was when my Mazda 626 got it's transmission swapped. It took the guy an hour form start to finish . That is just one of the reasons I love my Mazda .
