I'm having an issue since i installed my TH trans, the reverse lights don't come on unless i'm pulling back on the shifter in reverse. Searching has told me the switch may need to be adjusted, anyone have pictures of exactly what i'm going to have to do?

Bump.. Did you find your answer Josh? I had the same problem, and now I can't get them to come on at all.

is it the stock shifter tower or the focus? If its stock I would imagine that the reverse light switch isn't screwed in all the way.

Mine haven't come on for a long time. Started with having to pull back on the shifter to get them on, but that even stopped working after a while. Stock shifter and trans here.

Per TH's suggestion i adjusted the cable to no avail, he said it may be the switch..

This has been an issue on my car for over 2 years. I dont know how but when I recently put some lick tite on the tower bolts to keep them from rattling loose every few days the lights have been working. Just hoping this doesnt happen again. I have a B&M short throw installed.

Had exact same problem on mine, and I figured to try replacing the following part. This was after tightening cables.

Pic was taken from this thread, and shows the grommet that can cause issues. I wondered if that tiny bit of give was enough to translate to the additional slack. Other than trying that, I couldn't find any information to suggest an alternative treatment.

Never got round to it though as the car was totalled before I had a chance.
