does any one know if the ford contour v6 cosmo short shifter for 98-01 will fit a v6 95-97 i heard it will but not sure.

No, it will not fit.

FYI, there is no 01 Contour.

As far as I know, there isn't one, but some people have cust down the stock shifter. Some like the modification and others report that they wish they had not done it. I'm sure you can find more information with a search.

does ne one know how hard it is to cut it cause i herd its easy and they like it alot better than the b&m and i also herd u can still put it in reverse let me know thanks
