So that does it for the contour. Last night on my way home a deer ran out in front of me. I swerved a few times, lost control, then hit a parked truck. I then rolled (backwards not flipping) down a 30 foot bank until I hit a tree. I'll probably go take some pics tomorrow and post them. Time to go cry myself to sleep.
Whoa! Glad you're okay. Another Contour takes one for the owner.
Awe man I'm sorry to hear
Atleast you walked away unharmed
I have some glass cuts on my face and a few horrible bruises. My kidney is also bruised. I peed blood this morning when I woke up..... fun stuff
Sorry to hear. Wish I would have seen the car at the meets but NYCEG sort of .. lacks those
Shoulda killed the damn deer.
I'm sorry to hear about your accident.
Please take it easy and get some rest! I hope you feel better soon!!
That totally blows man. I hope your recovery is speedy and as painless as possible.
As for the deer, my father always told me to never swerve for an animal in the road, even if they are large.
Your chances of involving other people and vehicles are much greater and it's not worth killing yourself or someone else over a deer/rabbit/dog.
The only reason I would swerve would be if it were a human in my way.
Although sometimes you can't help the reaction.
Damn.
Glad you made it out relatively unscathed. Stoopid(sic) deer.
Damn man thats traumatic still! Your thinking about it will go away in time, but one hell of ride you were in for sure! Poor contour, but I hope you get well soon from this experience. Stupid deer.
They gave me these stupid muscle relaxants that don't do a damn thing either!
Really sorry to hear and see that!
Yes, the deer is better to hit. It's a Comprehensive claim, as critters are considered an Act of God. Therefore, lower deductible (in most cases) and no premium increase.
Stop smoking dude you have used up one of your nines..
It was a CNG car too so the firefighters were all worried it was gonna blow up. It was smoking pretty good and they did end up hosing it down a bit.
dude...that sucks, sorry to hear
